The Immigration and Ethnic History Newsletter has been publishing news of the field since 1968. In addition to organizational updates, it spotlights new trends in immigration history research, teaching, and outreach. Today, each biannual issue includes a letter from the IEHS president, a list of recent publications in US immigration and ethnic history, and a feature essay. Obituaries and reports of IEHS initiatives, events, and awards also appear regularly.
Every issue of the Newsletter is feely available online. Members also receive a copy by email and/or mail (according to their preference). Non-members can join the email distribution list here.
